Amber Sea Glass Pendant Necklace

Thank you for stopping by to see my handmade creations! I enjoy making each & every piece you see here. Please know that I have carefully shopped for the natural stones & sea glass I use in my jewelry. While not all stones are unearthed in the USA, the lapidary businesses I use carefully cut & polish these stones to showcase their beauty. Sea glass is purchased from sea glass hunters around the world. Each piece will detail where the sea glass was found.

There are some things I want to bring to your attention before you make your purchase. Please read the following in its entirety so you are fully aware of my policies & procedures.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• A care card will be included with your purchase. Please read this card so you know how to take care of your jewelry. Following simple steps can keep your jewelry looking new & extend the life of your investment.

• Natural stones & sea glass can be damaged if they are not taken care of properly! Please be careful not to soak them in any liquids or cleaners. Dropping them or banging them into something may cause the stone or sea glass to crack & even break. Enjoy wearing your pieces & just be aware that accidents happen & damage may result! I am not responsible in this case.

• Although sterling silver is nice & shiny when you receive it, it will tarnish! Your purchase will come in a clear zip bag with a black anti-tarnish square. I recommend keeping your jewelry in that bag until & after you wear it. This will help reduce how quickly tarnish will occur. A polishing cloth will be included & you may need to occasionally give your jewelry a quick polish to restore the shine. This is normal.

• Antiqued pieces may lose their "antiqueness" over time. You can restore this finish by using liver of sulfur gel or a hard-boiled egg. Please know that some stones cannot be dipped into liver of sulfur because they are porous. Do not use liver of sulfur on sea glass.  I am not responsible for damage caused by using either of these techniques.

• You will need to know your ring size before making a purchase. Finished ring sizes are verified on a ring mandrel for accuracy. Wider band rings may need to be sized up. You may want to check your sizes by either visiting a local jeweler or searching for an online ring sizer chart. Unfortunately, I do not have the capability of resizing rings to a smaller size. I can size them to a larger size if the piece allows that alteration. You are responsible for all shipping costs in the event this service is required.

• Your bracelet size should be checked before placing an order. Measure your wrist for an accurate size. I generally make cuff bracelets 6" in length with an approximate 1-1/2" opening to allow you to put the bracelet on your wrist. It will be shaped into a nice oval to fit the natural curve of your wrist. You may need to adjust this shape once it is on. I highly recommend gently squeezing the silver by placing your thumb and middle finger on each side of your wrist. Remember ... gently!

• Pendants will come with an adjustable size Italian .925 sterling silver chain. This will allow you to wear your necklace at either 16, 18, or 20 inches depending on what style of neckline you are wearing. Longer chains can be ordered but will take a longer turnaround time.

• Wire-wrapped pendants need a lot of TLC! I have carefully rounded raw edges & tucked them in so they will not catch on clothing. Please be careful not to catch a wire on something because pulling the wire will ruin the design. I am not responsible for damage in the event this happens. I will, however, fix this for you at a small charge. You are responsible for all shipping costs.

• Earrings can be purchased with either a lever-back style or an ear-wire design. Earwires will come with a clear rubber stopper for your use. If you would like a different ear wire than is shown in the picture, please message me through the "Contact Maker" icon.

SHIPPING

• Please allow 7-10 days to receive your order. This will include packaging & mailing time.

• The postal service is extremely busy during the holiday season & as such it is out of my control if a package is delayed because of this time frame. Your order will be shipped within 3 days of being placed & you will receive tracking information. 

• I will personally deliver packages to the USPS & get a receipt that your item was checked into their system.  It is not my responsibility after that point.  Any issues with delivery must be addressed with the USPS in your area.  I will help with making phone calls.  I have never had the experience of this happening with any of my packages, however, I want to be clear on my procedure.

• I ship items via USPS Ground Advantage Mail.

RETURNS

I do my best to take pictures in natural, outdoor lighting that represents my jewelry. I really enjoy the photography process! However, I do understand that sometimes it is difficult to judge size until you are actually wearing the piece(s) you purchased. I want your shopping experience to be enjoyable & stress-free. Please know that if your purchase is not what you expected, you may return it within 5 days for a full refund (minus shipping). Your purchase must be returned in its original packaging, packed in a bubble mailer, damage-free & shipped via USPS first-class mail within 7 days of contacting me. Your refund will be processed once I receive & inspect the item.

Custom orders are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

We all second guess a purchase from time to time. If you decide that you would like to cancel your order, kindly contact me within 24 hours of your purchase.
