Eagle wood art.
This Eagle is made in a woodworking style called Intarsia. There are four different kinds of wood used to achieve the coloring needed. No stains or dyes are ever used, what you see is the natural color of the wood. Most of the white seen is Aspen, the dark part of the feathers and part of the eye is American Walnut, and the beak and talons are Yellowheart, which is imported from Brazil.
It is cut on a scroll saw and then each individual piece is shaped and sanded. It is finally finished with several clear polyurethane coats for protection and to allow the natural wood coloring to come through. It will arrive with a hanger on the back so it is ready for your wall.
As the national symbol of the USA, this would make a great gift for your favorite patriot.

I am a retired husband, father, grandfather, and follower of Jesus Christ. We live in Wisconsin and I love creating handmade signs, art and home decor with wood. Our products feature Bible verses and Christian themes.
I started creating signs and items to decorate my own home and for gifts. My primary tool is an old scroll saw. No computerized equipment, CNC, or laser machines are ever used.

Intarsia is a woodworking technique that uses varied shapes, sizes, and species of wood fitted together to create a mosaic-like picture with an illusion of depth. Intarsia is created through the selection of different types of wood, using their natural grain pattern and color to create variations in the pattern. After selecting the specific woods to be used within the pattern, each piece is then individually cut on a scroll saw, then shaped, and finished. Sometimes areas of the pattern are raised to create more depth. Once the individual pieces are complete, they are fitted together like a jig-saw puzzle and glued to wood backing which cut to the outline shape of the image.
This piece is made for indoor display only. It is not weatherproof.

All of our packages are shipped USPS Priority (United States Postal Service) and we will do our best to ship all orders by the date promised. Once the order is in the hands of the US Postal Service we are NOT responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. If you received an order shipped notification and do not receive the order in a timely manner or if you receive it damaged please contact the US Postal Service to file a claim. If your package is returned to us due to a wrong address or deemed un-deliverable by USPS, additional shipping will be required from you to receive your package.
Refunds and Exchanges
We want you to be totally satisfied so we will work with you to try and resolve any questions or concerns you may have. Refunds are given on a case by case basis. If you do receive your order as promised in good condition and if for any reason you just don't like it or it wasn't what you expected, once we have received (shipping cost is your responsibility) the item undamaged we will refund the purchase price ONLY.
