I love these simple amethyst and oxidized copper earrings. The copper ovals are textured with a bookmatched random line pattern, making a beautiful backdrop for the copper wire wrapped purple amethyst teardrops. They measure 1 1/4 inches long from the top of the rose gold filled ear wires.

How it’s Made
I made these beautiful earrings with genuine purple amethyst teardrops and copper sheet. I started by cutting and filing the sheet into the oval forms. Then I hammered the ovals with texturing hammer to create the diagonal line pattern. Next, I wire wrapped the amethyst teardrops with 26 gauge copper wire. I oxidized the amethyst wire wrapped beads and copper ovals and then gently polished them to bring out the wire and abstract textures. I made the ear wires out of 20 gauge rose gold filled wire.
