How it’s Made
I made these earrings by cutting, filing and forming 22 gauge sterling silver sheet into the elongated heart shapes. Then I debossed the silver hearts creating an interesting geometic pattern. I wire wrapped the amethyst briolette teardrops with 26 gauge sterling silver wire, then oxidized the hearts and the wire wrapped amethysts and carefully polished them to reveal the texture. I made the shepherds hook ear wires with 20 gauge sterling silver wire.
