Meet the Maker
Welcome to my shop, the Purple Shiba! My favorite part about crocheting is creating these little characters, brought to life by the love of someone who chooses them. I sell completed amigurumi (Japanese for “crocheted stuffed doll”) based on different designers, and pick ones that have the most personality to me. I hope the variety in my shop inspires you to adopt one of them to a good home!
My entire world consists of my husband, son, and my two pups, a Boxer mix and a Shiba Inu. I crochet in between homeschooling, basketball practices, and treatments for my son’s cystic fibrosis. The purple Shiba is in recognition of his diagnosis from two weeks old, and his joy in life has inspired all the great things that have happened in our little family. Crocheting amigurumi is more than a hobby, it’s also a lifeline and a love, and I’m excited to open this shop as a new venture. I hope it brings you as much joy as it does for me.
