Ancient Creations Small Ceramic Cremation Urn/Keepsake Vessel in White with Mother of Pearl

Ancient Creations Ceramic Urns are hand formed on the wheel from pure white clay by our potter, Earnest. We then hand paint them inside and out, with a glass overglaze in your choice of many beautiful jewel tone colors.

Our Urns are hand decorated with real precious metal lusters, then real 22 karat gold banding is applied by hand on the pottery wheel.

We have been doing pottery for over 25 years and have created custom urns for many of our friends and families loved ones.

We never offered them beyond our immediate circle, until during the pandemic, when we realized that one of the best things that we could do to help ease the pain of loss was to offer our 100% handmade with love ceramic urns to the public at a reasonable price.

A great deal of time and care goes into each Urn, they are put through 4 separate firings, and are worked on by 5 different craftspeople, each adding their artistic and reverent finishing touch, to each one-of-a-kind piece.

Cremation urn volumes are measured in cubic inches. Your needs can be determined by using the general formula of one cubic inch per pound of body weight.

Our urns range in size from 170 cubic inches, to down to around 40 ci.

This Urn in White with Mother of Pearl is 40 Cubic inches in volume, and is about 6 inches tall by 5 inches wide at the widest point.

*A note on our lids: We have recently received feedback that our customers would like the lids of our urns to seal more tightly, so we are looking into a way to do that also.

As of now, we create the lids with a flange that fits inside the mouth of the urn preventing it from sliding off, and we leave the raw clay contact points on the lid exposed so that with a few twists of the lid you can get it to seat firmly and airtight.
