These beautiful little angels are about 2 1/2” tall with a pretty gold star tulle dress with a bell. They are adorned with gold wings, halo and a gold star in their ‘hands’. The ‘hands’ are beads of different colors. A portion from the sale of each of these will be donated to research to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Over almost 4 years , Anna completed the standard protocols for osteosarcoma including multiple chemotherapies and amputation as well as radiation, ablation, and additional clinical trials in an effort to destroy the cancer. It was incredibly hard physically and she missed out on so much time at school, with friends and at home with her sister, Kate. She did it all without losing her beautiful outlook on life. She passed away in May 2018 after all the options had been exhausted but she never lost her smile or her positive way of looking at the world.
Childhood cancers have no pre screenings. Many childhood cancer treatments, like Anna's, are 30+ years old and there have been no new options developed. Even when treatments work, childhood cancer survivors face long term health issues. Childhood cancer research is consistently underfunded, receiving less than 4% of the federal cancer research budget. Our children deserve better, safer, treatment options. Much of the research being done on pediatric cancers is funded privately, often by efforts led by the families of childhood cancer angels.
Gold is the color of Childhood Cancer Awareness. The color gold symbolizes how precious children are and the resiliency of childhood cancer heroes. The purchase of these golden angels will help fund necessary research. A portion of the sale of these angels will be donated to the Children's Cancer Research Fund's Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Fund.
