Hand crafted Christmas holiday pine needle basket centers, featuring antique silver western-style filigrees on Christmas red or green backgrounds. The red has just a hint of shimmer. Set in epoxy resin on front & back, with holes drilled for stitching.
2" diameter x 1/4" thick, they're an ideal size for making ornaments that will work up quickly.

Meet the Maker
Hello from Florida. I'm Barb Nelson, owner/operator of Pine Needle Basket Supplies, aka Artgal's Studio. You may have seen me on Etsy or Facebook.
A Florida resident since 1974, I attended the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale and hold degrees in Advertising Design and Fashion Illustration. I spent most of my career as Senior Art Director for the S.E. Regional Division of Belk Dept Stores where I designed and produced catalogs and directed photo shoots. Later, I worked as Creative Director for a national outdoor advertising company.
In recent years I discovered pine needle basketry. I now enjoy teaching others at venues throughout the southeast.
In 2007 I began selling dyed and natural Florida long leaf pine needles online and at craft shows. This naturally evolved into making other supplies and accessories for basketry and gourd art.
