About this Product
Ease your worries, or hang on to them, as you find comfort and fun with an Anxiety Doll in a matchbox. The first cohort of these dolls made their way into the world through the Artomat vending machine art project (check it out!- Artomat.org). This second variation was created to launch this GoImagine shop through these tiny art offerings.
The doll and box you see in the photograph is the exact one you will get. No two are exactly alike. Products in this shop are limited, OOAK art. There may be variations and themes that reoccur here in the shop, however, duplicating and replacing products that sell with ones just like them it are not my intention. There are 20 dolls in this cohort.
The dolls are made from polymer clay. They have wool roving hair and micro glass beads for eyes. Each one comes in their own matchbox with a removable, textured felt mat. An original anxiety knot is drawn directly onto each matchbox in my signature "worm style." The drawing is sealed with matte varnish.
These are not toys or intended for use by young children. Small parts could be a choking hazard.

Meet the Maker
Welcome!
Given the state of our modern lives and these challenging times, it seems frivolous to make and sell art objects. There are those of us, however, who want to hold something in our hands to feel more connected to being human. It is in that spirit, that I share these serious, and sometimes silly offerings. My hope is to ease the worries of the daily grind!
Over the years, I have exhibited, published, sold and taught art. Right now, I’m not taking life as seriously as I used to - and I am playing, exploring, and having fun with art making.
The themes in my work reflect anxiety, and foundational imagery. They include organic figures, worms, insects, and biological references. Other themes could emerge.
I am happy to have found a platform for handmade goods that donates profits to the needs of children, and puts effort toward adding a drop of good in the life-bucket. Thank you for visiting my shop!
How it’s Made
The dolls are made from polymer clay. They have wool roving hair and micro glass beads for eyes. Each one comes in their own matchbox with a removable, textured felt mat. The matchboxes are painted with black chalkboard paint, and an original anxiety knot is drawn directly onto each matchbox in my signature "worm style." The drawing is sealed with matte varnish.
