Meet the Maker
Irish Twins Potpourri began as an unexpected venture, inspired by a relationship that has only recently blossomed. My sister and I are Irish twins—born just 10 months apart—but growing up, we rarely saw eye to eye. We lived parallel lives, but it wasn’t until adulthood that we began to truly connect and understand each other. In the last several months, we’ve started building the kind of relationship we never had before, one rooted in respect, understanding, and a shared love of creating something meaningful.
During one of our conversations, we discovered that we both had a passion for scents and home décor. It was in that moment that the idea for Irish Twins Potpourri was born. What started as a casual exchange turned into an exciting business, combining my years of experience in aromatherapy with a newfound desire to create something special with my sister. Together, we blend high-quality botanicals with unique fragrance oils to craft potpourri that brings a sense of warmth and nostalgia into every home.

How it’s Made
Sourcing and Preparing Botanicals: We start by selecting high-quality dried botanicals like flower petals, leaves, roots and even non-plant life such as dried mushrooms.
Fragrance Addition: Our signature scents, such as Wicked Pumpkin and Nana's Apple Pie, are added to our orange and brown blend of mixed botanicals. These fragrance and essential oils are carefully incorporated to ensure a well-rounded and long-lasting aroma, providing a delightful sensory experience in every potpourri blend.
Curing Process: The potpourri is left to cure for several days to weeks, allowing the botanicals to fully absorb the fragrance.
Packaging and Quality Control: Our potpourri is thoughtfully packaged in cellophane bags to a minimum of 8 ounces (typically more) and then finished off with a sleek satin bow, making it an excellent choice for gift-giving. Each batch undergoes thorough quality checks to ensure it meets our standards for both fragrance strength and visual appeal, offering a refined touch to any space.
