This beautiful bright necklace and pendant combination is perfect together. The chain is 16 1/2 serpentine style and is silver plated. It has a lobster clasp. The pendant is a 6mm round aquamarine gem wrapped in 20 gauge silver plated wire. The total hang length is 9 1/2 inches.
Aquamarine represents happiness, hope and everlasting youth. It was thought to protect the seafarer in ancient times.

Meet the Maker
My love of jewelry began when my mother and sister began creating unique and simple pieces many years ago. I could see the sparkle of excitement in my mother's eyes each time she created a new piece. It was like she saw them as her own children. Each different. As time passed, I began to experiment with the craft myself. She gave me advise and tips. I was very insecure. Making for myself was not so difficult. Creating to appeal to other people was scary. What if no one likes what I make? What if I'm not good enough? I didn't get to go to school to learn design or technique. I create what I feel in my heart at the time. Well, I got brave and decided to jump in. I am still a work in progress. Always trying to learn new things and try new ideas. Since mom is gone now, trying to carry on her craft makes me feel closer to her. I remember to make each piece unique. I now have that sparkle of excitement in my eyes. I'm having a great time.
I truly hope that each person who blesses me by wearing my creations feels the love I put into each piece. I hope they feel beautiful and unique as well.
As to my other information, I have two online shops and two brick and mortar craft mall booths. My other interests are camping, hiking, fishing and gardening. I find peace in nature. I have held quite a few jobs in retail. Fine jewelry and cosmetics mostly. What I call myself is a retail queen.
