We never use cheap veneered wood or stain finishes to dress up cheaper wood to try to make it look like something it’s not! The wood that you select is the species of wood you will receive. We sand and finish every shelf by hand, ending the process with a food-safe, water resistant, non-toxic, no VOC, hybrid mineral oil & hard wax wood finish that will ensure that your piece will remain beautiful for many many years to come. The shelving unit includes 2 keyhole hangers on the back for maximum stability.
