Custom line drawing of your horse with personalization of horse name option.
The simple, clean lines of the sketch adds elegance and a touch of sophistication to any room. It's a perfect way to honor your horse or to remember a pet that's passed on. Also makes a great gift for a horse lover or for someone who has lost a pet. You have the option of adding your pet's name to the artwork.
You will need to provide several clear photos of your pet with good contrast that I can choose from. You will upload when completing the customization options.
See the "How it's made section" for my process. Once I finish the artwork I will notify you with a watermarked, low resolution proof for your approval.
ONLY ONE PET PER PORTRAIT. It's easier for me that way and often looks better.
COPYRIGHT: I own the rights to the original artwork. Your purchase gives you one finished piece of artwork which is framable or will be framed based on the options you choose.

Meet the Maker
Hi,
I'm Teena Stewart, a North Carolina artist. For as long as I can remember I've been making art and creating handmade works. It was a natural outlet for me as a kid because I was extremely shy and and was frequently sick with asthma and bronchitis. Art became a release and the day I discovered my dad's old sketches in the attic, I was smitten. Not long after, I asked for an art kit for Christmas and things took off from there.
When I lived in California I grew fascinated with the beautiful beach glass found on the beach. I even worked it into a border in my California home. That spurred me to start playing with recycled glass and eventually led to the purchase of a dual media kiln.
These days I work primarily in acrylics, mixed media, glass and jewelry. My work often features nature and animals. I hope to connect people with the Creator and creation through my art.

How it’s Made
After I select what I feel is the best photo you provide of your pet, I may tweak it on my computer to make it easier to see the edges I want to capture in the contour drawing. Then, I print it out and put it on a light box in order to trace the edges. I use a black paint pen to create the contour lines.
I may make several drawings or touch up a drawing to get the look I like. Once I get a result I am satisfied with, I scan it to my computer and clean it up more. If you requested a name on the art, I add that in in Photoshop. Next, I send you a proof. Once that is approved I print out the finished piece on 60lb matte paper on my Epson xp-1500 printer.
Shop Policies
I typically ship in 1-3 days except for during the holiday season when ship times can be longer due to higher volume. Custom orders may take a few days longer. No returns on personalized merchandise except for error on my part. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your order upon receipt you must contact me within 1 week of receipt and describe the problem. I will work with you to try and resolve the issue. I am not responsible for products that are reported as delivered by shipping carriers even if the customer claims they didn't receive it.
