About this Product
I created this handmade art lamp from fine merino wool and silk fibers, through the process of felting with water and soap. A tangle of reds and golds is beautiful both lit and unlit. It' makes a lovely nightlight, gentle mood light, and small piece of sculptural art.
The lamp is powered by a USB plug and includes a USB wall adapter.
Each lamp is unique and you will receive the exact item pictured- this one is approximately 2.5 inches wide by 8.75 inches tall.

Meet the Maker
I'm an artist and maker creating from my home in Woodinville, WA. I specialize in unique 3D art wet-felted from wool.
I especially enjoy making objects that are not traditionally made of wool, such as lamps, bowls, sculptures, jewelry, and mobiles.
Sometimes visitors catch sight of my pieces from across the room and move closer because they're wondering "what is that made of?" It's fun to see their surprise and interest when I explain that my pieces are made from wool felt!
I love the tactile quality of wool felt, both during the creation process and in the finished products. I work primarily with very fine merino wool, combining it with a variety of materials that may include other kinds of wool, other textile fibers like silk or viscose, metal, fabric, gems, glass, or found objects. My creations may be functional or decorative, joyous or moody, bold or reserved, whimsical or weird!
