About this Product
I saw this lovely crackle quartz tumbled stone as an opportunity to stretch myself and try setting it using a variety of copper coiling and weaving techniques. My goal was to create an artistic statement pendant, an organic design as irregular and intriguing as the stone itself.
Crackle quartz is clear quartz (representing clarity and spiritual growth) that has been heated and cooled to create fractures that sparkle and catch the eye. Crackle quartz is less durable than regular quartz, but the copper setting should protect the stone for ordinary wear.
The pendant itself is about 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) long. The copper chain is adjustable from about 18 to 20 inches (45 to 50 cm).
The pendant has a non-tarnish coating to protect the finish. If you avoid getting it wet, the coating will last longer. If it wears off over time, you can use the polishing cloth I included in the box.
