Ash - Snack dish-This bowl was harvested in Norther California where it was starting to split after a wind storm. Before it was able to let go and land on the neighbors house it was removed and we were able to get a fair amount of it to help give it life again! 1.75'' x 7'' NOTE: candy not included.

How it’s Made
When making bowls I prefer the twice turned method. This means that I turn the wood green and then dry it for up to a year. during that time the grain will relax and then I will turn it again and apply finish. Wood is an Organic material that is constantly moving. This process means that the bowl will be more stable and hold its shape better. All of my bowls are coated with food safe linseed oil and bees wax.
