This is the part of the barrel where the precious whiskey or bourbon is filled, tested, and drained. We lightly sand the stave to clean it up a bit, but we still leave the markings, aging spots, and whiskey stains on it. No 2 are alike due to being handcrafted from reclaimed used barrels.

We clean off the heavy charred parts on the back of the stave and then seal the whole stave with a protective clear coat. Hardware is included for easy wall mounting.

Reclaimed and repurposed wine barrel staves are crafted into unique and useful items inspired by our years abroad in Europe. Made from reclaimed whiskey and wine barrels, the color combination in each of our works is impossible to recreate. Each piece of reclaimed barrel oak spent years in the winemaking and whiskeymaking process, playing an important part in the rich coloring.
We preserve the natural red wine-stained or charred side of the staves and use techniques to get the natural beauty of the oak to show in all of our products. Each piece is handcrafted, one of a kind, and shows the age, complexity, and detail of a barrel.If you need something that you don't see here, just ask; we do custom work all the time.
