I love all kinds of vibrant colors. For years I made happy quilts with a focus on crazy colors.
Moving to Utah I started rock collecting and absolutely fell in love with all of the colors and being out in the mountains and deserts. I am learning to cut and polish some of the beautifully colored rocks I have found.
I combine polished stones with gemstone beads and Czech Glass beads to create fun and spiritual necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Colorful jewelry can help you smile and know your soul is safe.

How it’s Made
I found these Azurite beads and just loved the mix of color between the blues and greens. I’ve found some Azurite while rock hounding in several places in Utah and although they weren’t quality pieces they were exciting to find (and a lot of work) so I was thrilled to find gem quality Azurite beads to work with. They needed a little brightness so I added the Czech Glass and liked the balance. Enough so I made a matching necklace.
