About this Product
This bonnet has been knit with hand dyed soft merino yarn, gentle on baby's skin. Listed size is 4 months plus, fit will depend on head circumference. As can be seen in photos it is roomy on the 16” mannequin and slightly snug on the 19” head circumference. Bonnet has been made using mosaic knitting which allowed me to use up some of my leftover yarn. This is reflected in the price. Hand knit in my smoke free/pet free home!
The color is listed as pink and white but there are subtle variegations within these colors.
* Please be cautious when baby is wearing items with cords. Babies should not be allowed to sleep wearing this bonnet.

Hello, my name is Mary. I am originally from Ireland where I first learned to knit in school at a very young age. Those early attempts were improved upon by a beloved aunt who had blessed hands. I find knitting to be relaxing and therapeutic; however, I also enjoy the challenge of a new or difficult pattern even if it means ripping out and starting over. All of the items in my shop have been hand knit by myself, using only top-quality yarn. I do not like to use acrylic as it tends to pill, whereas items made with wool can last long enough to become heirlooms. A lot of yarns come in a superwash variety which offers a softer feel that just pure wool. All of my products are blocked using a plant based ecofriendly wool soak. Any residual odor from this soak will fade in time. I try my best to use ecofriendly shipping materials where possible. Thanks for visiting my shop, I hope you enjoy browsing.
