This bamboo hairbrush features a bee on a heart honeycomb to symbolize the phrase, "I love you more than a bee loves honey." The design honors the memory of a father who shared those words with his 5 daughters. It also honors their mother who sat on her bed brushing her hair while talking with them. She lost her hair during chemo and those 5 girls were with her through it all. Who do you love more than a bee loves honey?

Meet the Maker
Hi, friend. It's a joy to meet and greet you! My name is Camielle, and I hail from the prairies of the Dakotas. Here, the wide open spaces allow the imagination to run wild, and the brisk breezes give flight to new ideas. If you watch the clouds and listen to the meadowlarks, they will tell you a story. While I love to hear a good story, I get pretty excited about telling a story; your story. Wood burners and paintbrushes might not be the traditional ways of writing a story, but the ending can be moving and meaningful. For instance, a cousin of mine wears a hat with a guitar because it makes her think of her son. A new friend gave her siblings brushes with a bee and honey design to remind them that their dad loved them more than a bee loves honey. A military crossbody bag with a flag design was given to a niece, to honor her dad, who was proud to be an American. Friend, there is so much potential to share your story in a beautiful, meaningful, and unique way. While I am not the author of your story, I would be tickled to be the illustrator. How it’s Made
The design on this brush shares a beautiful story. When I was visiting with a new friend she commented how bees make her think of her dad and how he used to say to his five daughters, "I love you more than a bee loves honey." She also shared that her mom had beautiful long hair and when they were younger, the five girls did as well. A treasured memory of hers is sitting on her bed talking with her mom while her mom brushed her hair. Her mom lost her hair during chemo and her five girls were supporting her through it. Drawing this design and burning it on these bamboo brushes was an honor. My new friend was gracious to allow me to offer this design to others. Her hope is that the message of this design and the story of her parents will encourage others to tell those close to them how much they are loved, especially children.

If you return an item, you are responsible for the return shipping charges.
Custom orders CANNOT be returned. While I love helping you artfully design your story, it is your story to share. Before I create your product, you will have the opportunity via email to deny and make changes to the design. This should make the likelihood of a return extremely minimal.
Refunds will be given for
the original purchase price of product and shipping if free shipping was not included.

Shipping
As a creator, I am just as excited for you to get your order as you are to receive it.
Your order will be processed and shipped in 2 - 4 business days. Allow for more time with custom orders, especially during the holidays.
Your order will be shipped through the USPS via Ground Advantage or Priority mail, and a tracking number will be sent to you. Lost and damaged orders are quite often out of our control. That said, If your item is damaged, please contact me!! I can't make it more positive if I am unaware.
Hat/Cap and Bag Care
A hat brush used lightly will help keep the dust off the hats and caps.
Do not machine wash.
Military bags dry clean only.
