Made from authentic bourbon whiskey barrel staves with a seat height of approximately 24". Backrest is angled back at 10 degrees so you can lean back comfortably. Seat will be about 15 inches wide and about 15-16 inches in depth. Chairs will vary in color due to barrel being at least 4 years old and having character from being in a rickhouse for that long. This is normal for barrel staves and is called patina. The black on the seat and backrest is the char from inside the barrel. We scrap the loose char off and then seal with lots of polyurethane so it won't get on your clothes. Minor assembly of the backrest will be needed upon delivery. All you will need is a phillips screwdriver or drill. Instructions will be sent via the Etsy app at time of shipment.
