These barrel stave shelves are a great way to organize anything like your bourbon/whiskey collection, spices, or some smaller toiletry items. We use wood from Kentucky bourbon barrels along the front and side and oak boards on the bottom and back of these to make a heavy-duty shelf that will add some character to any room. We offer them in 3 colors: dark walnut, chestnut, and polyurethane only (the oak boards will be stained to match as closely as possible with the polyurethane finish only). The total width of the item is about 35 inches. The shelf itself is about 30 inches wide and about 5.25 inches deep at the middle and closer to 3.25 inches in depth at either end. Installation is simple, and only requires a drill, 1/8" and 1/4" drill bits, and a phillips head drill bit or screwdriver. No need to find studs for installation. Hardware rated to hold a total of 150 lbs (2 - 75 lb dry wall anchors). Installation instructions will be sent via email when it ships
