This hand painted batik silk scarf measures 14"X72" and is a true one of a kind piece in subtle turquoise and winter white colors. I dyed this scarf using a Batik wax technique, professional grade dyes and steamed the finished scarf to set the dyes permanently.
Habotai, also known as "China Silk", is lightweight and breezy. It has a bit more shine than Crepe de Chine, and is great for adding a pop of color without being too warm.
You will love wearing or gifting this unique piece. Perfect for dressing up your favorite outfit or your comfy jeans.
Shipping: Shipping is FREE! All orders ship within 24 hours (M-F). I'll send your package via USPS, First Class Mail with tracking number and insurance. All of my scarves arrive in a small, white organza bag, wrapped in white tissue paper. If you would like to have your package shipped to an address other than yours, please provide the details in note to seller. I'll include a small card with your message on it!
Care: Silk is a protein, like your hair. When needed, wash in cool water with a few drops of shampoo. Rinse, and roll up in a big fluffy towel to remove the rest of the water (never ring silk, the fibers are strong but short and wringing may damage your silk). I like to iron my pieces on silk setting, no steam to finish drying. But, if you allergic to ironing, you can simply hang your scarf to finish drying.
