Meet the Maker
HI! My name is Audra. I love to make things. Most of all I love to make things for other people. I love to see a vision come to life and see the smile on someone's face when they get a piece of art that was made especially for them. I work with different types of media. Wood, resin, paint, vinyl, laser cutting, acrylic....you name it, I have probably worked with or would love to learn how to work with it. The sky is the limit. I would love to make something for you.
How it’s Made
This was made with many layers of resin. First I painted board with ocean colors. Then I laid down layers of resin. I have to let each layer of resin cure for 24 hours. Then come the waves....waves are challenging and fun at the same time. Trying to create the perfect wave is so fun. I place the sand and shells, that I get right from the ocean, into a layer of resin also. You can imagine that this is a bit heavy. After all of the elements are in place, there is one fina coat of resin place on top.
