Beautiful vintage brooches are not something we wear or see every day. I love to frame items such as this beautiful crystal brooch to see it every day and enjoy its beauty. This is a small shadow box that will go almost anywhere. Make a grouping of them on a wall or put it in a tiny nook where only something small will go. This would be a lovely addition to a bedroom or bathroom. It is small and measures 4" tall x 4.5" wide.
The black paint on the frame is high gloss. The pictures do not show the brilliant sparkle of this brooch. It looks like it has light on it. No matter from what angle you view it, it sparkles. I wish I could have captured the brilliance in my photos.

Meet the Maker
My name is Sarah Laster. I live in a very small town in Eastern Oklahoma just 9 miles west of Fort Smith, AR. I am pre-retired. That means I've retired from the corporate world but I don't have a retirement income. I live with my grandson, 3 dogs and 2 cats. All 6 of them are rather spoiled but well trained at the same time. I sell handmade, one of a kind art, upcycled clothing and accessories and theme based shadowboxes as well as custom shadowboxes. Most of my custom shadowboxes are Memorial Keepsakes of a loved one that has passed. Its an awesome way to see items on a daily basis that would normally be packed away in a box somewhere.
How it’s Made
This item includes a vintage, brilliant crystal brooch framed in a shadowbox. I love vintage brooches and hate that they are stored away in a jewelry box. Putting them in a decorative shadow box makes them a part of our decor that we can see and enjoy each time we pass by it. I make custom shadow boxes with mementos so special items can be enjoyed often instead of keeping them in a box stored away. When a shadow box contains items left by a beloved family member, it causes us to think of the person and smile each time we pass by the item on the wall.
