About this Product
Located in Fayette Count, in Southern WV, is the New River Gorge. Within the Gorge, is Beauty Mountain.
Beauty Mountain isn’t really a mountain in the sense that it rises as a peak above the surrounding hills. Instead, Beauty Mountain is an unbroken stretch of sandstone cliffs running along the rim of the New River Gorge from Short Creek near Edmond, WV, to Keeney Creek. Nevertheless, the cliffs of Beauty Mountain tower more than 1000 feet above the New River. (copied from this blog)
Truly it is a view unlike any other and watching the sunset there is a spiritual experience.
I based this painting from a vacation visit in 2022 to Beauty Mountain accompanied by my 2 younger kiddo and their 2 best friends at the time.
