About this Product
I read that different Native American tribes interpret butterflies in different ways. Some think they represent change, transformation, hope, and positivity. Others believe ancestors communicate through butterflies and consider the presence of butterflies as a joyous or hopeful sign.
Inspiration: I purchased the blue butterfly charms on a whim because I thought they were sooo cute. They sat around for quite awhile until we acquired a big blue flower necklace at auction as part of a jewelry lot. Once I realized the big blue flower would look adorable with the blue butterflies I deconstructed the blue flower necklace and the rest is history!

How it’s Made
The necklace was handmade using interesting ‘fluffy’ black fringe and a large blue flower from a deconstructed necklace and twenty butterfly charms (some from deconstructed jewelry) of various shapes and designs. There are also glass flowers with glass seed beads and 2 black acrylic flowers. AND don’t forget the back with a beautiful reclaimed disc charm and blue butterfly charm.
The earrings were handmade using the same blue butterfly charms as in the necklace, silverish tone butterfly charms and blackish glass beads.
