Hi! I’m Randy. So excited that you have landed here at my shop! I have been working hard the past couple years to get to this point. The point of actually selling my art instead of giving them as gifts to friends and family. I have always enjoyed art even from a young age. I had always strived to do my best. Lots of practice and a lot of failures. But you can’t learn if you don’t try. I hope if nothing else, I can inspire you to break out of your comfort zone and try something new. Art is such a stress relief and Lord knows I’ve had my share of stress. I always say art is great therapy.

Meet the Maker

Hello! I’m Randy Wardlaw. I’m a self-taught artist. I have artistically involved with some sort of art since I was a kid, and that’s been a while. In the past couple years I have been spending a lot of time working with epoxy resin art. I first stumbled on to resin art scrolling through YouTube one day, I saw this guy putting epoxy on counter tops and it looked like real stone! That was the hook. But the more I watched I found that epoxy was used for wall art and home decor, etc. So, I bought some resin and started doing my own pieces. I do wall art, pyramids, key chains, coasters, etc. If resin can be poured on it, I’m willing to try it.

I’m adding pieces all along so check back often to see what else I may have on here. I’ll put other things on here as well, not just epoxy projects. So, look out for those items.

Thanks again for stopping by. If you have questions just message me and I’ll do my best to get you an answer. Or if you have an idea for a commission piece, by all means let me know!

Shop Policies

RETURN POLICY

Items are non-returnable. If for some extreme circumstance an item is to be returned all I ask is that you contact me first. Explain why the item needs to be returned and we will work out the details such as shipping, etc. Please don’t take it on your own to send item back before we talk.

RETURNS/Exchanges

Typically returns are not accepted. A lot of time has went into describing the item. Along with pictures, size, etc. It would have to be a totally unique situation that would justify a return or exchange. I understand that sometimes pictures be deceiving, but in the case of my art coupled with my non-professional photography skills, my thought is that the actual item always looks better in person. If you see an item you like and the posted pics are unclear, or the description is lacking, then please make your inquiries about it prior to ordering. This will help alleviate any disappointments when receiving your item.

SHIPPING

I usually use the most cost effective form of shipping depending on the weight and or size of the item. If you want an item sooner just know that there will be a higher cost involved. I allow myself 3 days to get the item shipped. Got to work around my busy schedule. In all cases you will be notified when your item has shipped. You should also receive a tracking number to keep track of your item. I do not insure packages. That is the responsibility of the buyer.

FAQ’s

  • What is Epoxy Resin?

Epoxy resins, also known as polyepoxides, are a class of reactive prepolymers and polymers which contain epoxide groups. The epoxide functional group is also collectively called epoxy.

In other words, epoxy resin consists of two parts, the resin and the hardener. These are mixed together and they have a chemical reaction that when left alone will form a hard glossy finish to whatever project it is used on. This product can be used for many applications. Anything from countertops to key chains.

  • Do you only sell epoxy resin art?

I’m opening my shop with epoxy projects in different forms but in time I will share other forms of art. Whether it be acrylic paintings, wood projects or who knows.

  • How much time does it take to do a piece?

It varies. I work a full time job. Have a wife and a couple house pets, (dog and cat), so when I get a little free time I can usually be found in the ‘Art Room’. A typical wall art piece can take 3-4 days due to letting the resin cure at different stages. In the case of a pyramid for example, it could take a week or more.

. What inspires you?

I get a lot of ideas from watching Youtube. That’s what started my epoxy adventure. I also attend crats shows and festivals locally. I can see what others have done and then I think “I can do that” or “That would look awesome covered on resin”.

  • Were you trained?

No. I’m self taught. I had ‘Art Class’ in school, but all that did was help me realize I had some talent in art. But with life happening, art was put on the back burner. In the past couple years I’ve picked back up on getting more active in my art. And at this stage of my life, possibly facing retirement in a couple years, I wanted to concentrate on turning my ‘hobby’ into a business. Something I can do full time when I do retire.

  • Do you do commission pieces?

Depending on the item, yes. Example a personalized tumbler with a special saying or name. This may cost a little extra vs a custom wall piece that would depend on size, materials, colors, etc. I would be happy to quote you what I think the final cost would be. Just run your idea by me.
