Having reached the octogenarian phase of my very active life it is now time to retire my show tent and continue my passion for wellness selling my herbals online. I have been blessed with great health and take no prescription medications, only herbals to prevent illness. In the rare event that I do get sick I again turn to herbals as a curative. All of my TINCTURES are made with organic herbs and macerated for 2 months in 80 proof (40%) vodka, then lovingly bottled and labeled. My TONICS, ELIXERS, and CIDERS are formulated from historical recipes or those I have created through research or modified them from herbal guru's. I have created my HYDROSOLS using my home grown herbs using steam distillation.
My MOSQUITO NOSEEUM SPRAY and AFTERBITE ROLLON have been my signature products I created them over 20 years ago in Key West. The Keys are probably the mosquito capital of the US. How it’s Made
I make my ELDERBERRY TINCTURE from my ripe organically grown BLACK ELDERBERRY TREES.
I boil the berries for about 10 minutes, then I let it macerate in alcohol for two months. then lovingly bottle it in 2 OZ brown dropper bottles. ELDERBERRY has been called the country folks medicine cabinet because at the first sign of flu or cold we head for the ELDERBERRY. However, with its wonderful immune support and anti-inflammatory properties it is also a great preventative.
