About this Product
These cute black paper journals are 2.5" x 4" - or, just a touch bigger than a business card. They fit into any pocket - (true story, even women's pockets) - and feature a lovely black interior that pairs perfectly with gel pens, white ink, or paint markers. Journals have 128 pages and are stamped on the final page with my binder's signature to ensure authenticity.
If you ask me, the best part of these tiny black paper journals is how easy they make it to overcome the fear of the blank page. Whether you're journaling your thoughts, writing sporadic poetry, or jotting down a few to-do lists or minimal bullet journaling, something about the tiny black black pages just makes it so easy to forget your perfectionism and jump right in.
Each of these were made 100% by hand in my studio. They currently come in 4 cover styles: Rainbow Floral, Gamer, Sailboats, and Pride and Prejudice toile de jouy. Each of the covers are made from cotton fabric that I've converted to bookcloth.

Meet the Maker
Hi! My name is Laura. I'm a reader, writer, and bookbinder. Basically, I'm obsessed with books and hope that love comes through in my work.
My bookbinding journey started in 2014, when I was trying to come up with a birthday gift for my father. I was 17, and my little brother was 7. He was at an age where he was constantly cracking absurd jokes that my father thought were hilarious. So the idea hit me: let's make him a joke book filled with my little brother's jokes.
We didn't have a lot of money, and custom printed books weren't as easily then available as they are now. But my mother was a scrapbooking instructor, so the one thing I had access to was mountains and mountains of paper.
I got online, found a tutorial for casebinding, and got to work. Next thing I new, not only had I made the perfect gift for my father, but I'd found a craft that would become a lifelong passion.
How it’s Made
All of my journals and sketchbooks are made 100% by me, by hand, in my little studio in Pennsylvania. I use a blend of mostly traditional, occasionally modern techniques to produce robust, carefully crafted books that will last a lifetime. For my journal line, I work largely with cotton paper, but I like to experiment on occasion with artist quality papers, novelty papers, and recycled / up cycled materials. In this case, I found some black paper one day and thought "wouldn't that make a neat little book?" And here we are!
Shop Policies
Shipping Policies:
- Stock items will be shipped within 1-3 business days
- Lead time on personalized items is 1-2 weeks
- Please provide an accurate address. Two of Clubs Bindery is not responsible for packages lost or returned due to incorrect address details provided by the buyer.
- Tracking information will be provided when item is shipped. Once shipped, Two of Clubs Bindery is not responsible for late arrival due to delays on the Carrier's end (USPS).
Cancellation and Return Policy:
- Stock orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of initial purchase, if item has not yet been mailed.
- Personalized orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of initial purchase.
- Once received, buyer has 10 days to request a refund. From date of request, buyer has 15 days to return the item to receive refund. Buyer is responsible for paying to ship the item back, unless the item is defective, in which case Two of Clubs Bindery will cover the cost of return shipment.
- Refunds will be processed upon receipt of returned items.
- The following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Personalized items (unless item is defective)
- Items that have been used and are no longer in original condition. (For example, you cannot return a book that you have already drawn or written in, or a book that you have spilled something on.)
Privacy Policy:
All purchases are run through GoImagine.com, and through Stripe. Two of Clubs Bindery does not have access to your credit card information or other payment details. Personal details are used exclusively for shipping orders and communicating about the order placed. We will never share, sell, or redistribute your information to anyone.
