About this Product
This simple pendant features a bloodstone cabochon that has been wrapped in copper wire to make the pumpkin shape. I used 5 pieces of 20 gauge square copper wire for the pumpkin frame and the vines. I twisted some of the pieces to give it a little more dimension. The wires are connected at the bottom with 24 gauge half round copper wire. The bail is made by wrapping a piece of 28 gauge round copper wire around 4 pieces of the 20 gauge square copper wire. This piece is handmade in Minnesota.
Bloodstone is thought to help the wearer face the hard realities and challenges of life with courage and nobility. Many who wear this stone believe it helps to purify their aura and help ground them to their physical body.
Bloodstone is believed to resonate with the root chakra.
This piece measures 2" tall and 1" across and will come with a 21" braided black cord.
This piece is not oxidized but could be. The oxidization process is done by putting the piece in a mixture of liver of sulfur and water. I leave the piece until for 30-45 seconds and then I pull it out and clean it with soap, water, and a piece of steel wool. I make sure not to scratch the stone when doing this.
