About this Product
I believe fairy doors are magical portals and made some to share with other people who were looking for a little whimsy. The Blue Butterfly and Gold fairy door is my idea of a fancy fairy door. This little cutie has gold hinges and a brassy little door knocker. Bark, blue crystals, acorns, lichen and Spanish moss were my building materials. In the time it takes to hammer in a little nail, you too can have your very own fairy door on your front porch or inside your home.

Meet the Maker
I’m Kim Krost and before there was a Sprigs and Moss, I owned a natural wellness business called Integrative Healing Institute®, with my daughter, in our hometown of San Antonio Texas. The future of our twenty-year old business changed in 2021, when I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. I knew that if I was going to beat the cancer, my new full-time job would have to be concentrating on my own personal wellness. We made the decision to shift to an E-commerce company to sell our wellness products, and closed our retail location. I began treatment that week.
I had always been blessed with excellent health, so the chemotherapy and radiation symptoms were challenging. They also provided time for rest and reflection. During that period, I remembered the happiness that I felt when making fairy houses and fairy furniture when my children were in grade school and then later with my granddaughter. When my body began to recover, I decided to distract myself by getting creative again. Building fairy houses was the perfect outlet.
I’ve been cancer-free since July of 2022, and I feel great. I’ve even returned to seeing clients again a few days a week. The rest of the week, I am busy making fairy houses for people like you. They bring me a lot of joy and I hope that they will do the same for you.
Shop Policies
PAYMENT
- Goimagine and Sprigs and Moss accept all major credit cards using Stripe to process payments.
- Stripe keeps your payment information confidential and secure. Makers never receive your credit card information.
- Once your payment has cleared, I will process your order within 1-2 business days for in stock items.
- Custom orders processing time varies depending on the order, the number of orders I have and the time agreed upon with the buyer.
SHIPPING
- All packages are shipped via First Class: 3-5 days or Priority Mail: 1-3 days and includes tracking number and standard insurance.
- Buyers are responsible for any additional insurance or requested signatures for the package.
- I take photos of the package before they are processed/shipped out. I request a receipt for the package and then you’ll receive your package tracking number.
- I have no control over the scans, delays/deliveries from the USPS.
- After your package status is: delivered, I am not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Please contact the USPS or your local law enforcement agency for further assistance depending upon the circumstances.
- If you are shipping the package to a different mailing address, please be sure to double check the mailing address for accuracy. Packages will be sent to the addresses given.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
- Please contact me within 3 days of delivery if you have an issue with your order.
- Please read all of the details of each item you wish to purchase so that you are aware of the size, material and any care instructions for the product before purchasing.
- To receive a full or partial refund (at Sprigs and Moss discretion) the item must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery and it must be undamaged and in its original condition to receive a refund.
- Buyers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
- If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
- Cancellation can be requested within 1 day of purchase.
