Handmade rectangle painted glass dish is handmade from two layers hand cut fused glass. The top layer is clear and the bottom layer is blue. White glass frit (crushed glass) is painted on in a floral design. After firing, the plate is slumped in a mold and painted with white glass paint and baked for permanency. Use as a decorative plate for display, as a trinket or jewelry dish, a soap dish or even as a candle holder. 7" long x 4" wide at the widest. 1/2" high Rectangle shape Transparent royal blue glass Small bubbles are a common in this piece Comes with a votive candle

Meet the Maker
Hi,
I'm Teena Stewart, a North Carolina artist. For as long as I can remember I've been making art and creating handmade works. It was a natural outlet for me as a kid because I was extremely shy and and was frequently sick with asthma and bronchitis. Art became a release and the day I discovered my dad's old sketches in the attic, I was smitten. Not long after I asked for an art kit for Christmas and things took off from there.
When I lived in California I grew fascinated with the beautiful beach glass found on the beach. I even worked it into a border in my California home. That spurred me to start playing with recycled glass and eventually led to the purchase of a dual media kiln.
These days I work primarily in acrylics, mixed media, glass and jewelry. My work often features nature and animals. I hope to connect people with the Creator and creation through my art.

How it’s Made
Glass is hand cut and fired, then fired again in a mold to slump it. Design of glass frit is added then fired again. Final touch is painting the flowers design and firing one last time.
Shop Policies
I typically ship in 1-3 days except for during the holiday season when ship times can be longer due to higher volume. Custom orders may take a few days longer. No returns on personalized merchandise except for error on my part. If for some reason you are dissatisfied with your order upon receipt you must contact me within 1 week of receipt and describe the problem. I will work with you to try and resolve the issue. I am not responsible for products that are reported as delivered by shipping carriers even if the customer claims they didn't receive it.
