These beauties were made with magic muse and great care! Made from mostly repurposed items, you will be so pleased with the dazzling sparkle of the purse (especially in the sun:) and the jam-packed papers, tags and extras in the mini reusable junk journal. The journal is bound with double elastic binding (binding around each of the 2 signatures and separate elastic binding in the journal) so the pages can be removed to create notes for friends or collages for other projects and can be changed out when full so the journal cover can be used over and over again for ultimate enjoyment!
The purse is repurposed from a tissue box, completely sealed, lined on the inside as well with fabric. The gorgeous blue and gold and silver-sequined fabric was sourced from a free box of clothes, and the top was unwearable and thus the usable fabric repurposed into this fabulous duo. The handle on the purse is blue ribbon and silver ball chain glued to it. With care, this can be used as a real glam purse!
The journal measures approximately 6 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide, with a 1 inch spine and a chunky mouth, wrapped with the blue fabric overlay, tied with dull statin seam binding. The purse measures 9 inches long by 4.5 inches tall by 5 inches wide. The journal is designed to fit into the purse with care, and on the go for adventures. Hello musers! My name is Susan. The Sedonian Tribal name given to me is Wildfire. I guess you can imagine why. I love to make art of various types and craft. My favorites are junk journals and jewelry made from rocks I've mined and collected myself. I also like to sew and make other random things that spark my interest. I also will be adding new music to this platform.
I'm recently an empty nester. I got away from making films and music back in the day so I could see my children. Now that I have time, I will be going back to that. I make useful art as a form of muse therapy and to relax my mind. I charge money so I can replace supplies to continue crafting. I hope you purchase a treasure for yourself from my shop, these items are filled with Muse Magic and will be keepsakes for decades to come!

How it’s Made
I am practically obsessed with taking objects meant for the bin, and turning them into works of art that people will cherish for decades hopefully! I ask myself, would I be excited to find this in my grandma's attic? If they answer is yes, it goes up on the sight to find an artful home. This purse was made from a tissue box, sealed with mod podge, is completely lined on the inside as well, and with care, can even be used as a real purse. The fabric was sourced from a box of free clothes and the shirt was unwearable so I turned it into BoHo Bling! The mini journal has double elastic binding for extra support, and so the pages can be taken out and utilized for other projects or a quick note to a friend. And, the best part, is the pages can be taken out and put into a folder, and the cover can be used over and over, just adding in your own pages, thus further reusing! Art from parts!
