About this Product
A pair of bookends made from the stump of a tree that was felled by beavers. For a charmingly natural and rustic look in bookends, I don't think you can do better than these. These two halves of a beaver-chewed tree stump show the intricate grooved and faceted tooth-marks made by the beaver to cut down the tree, and below that some remnants of bark that weren't chewed off by the beaver.
Stainless steel plates are attached to the bottoms of these bookends to make them more stable -- the weight of the books holds the bookends in place. They are finished with several coats of polyurethane.
These bookends are about 5 inches high, and about 4-1/2 inches across the flat face. These bookends are perfect for most books, from oversized to paperbacks.
What better way to grace some favorite books than with a pair of bookends that bring a truly delightful piece of the natural world into your home or office?
