About this Product

Note: colors may vary slightly from the pictures.

This lovely bookshelf is made not with wood, but mainly acrylic yarn (with other species of yarn populating the various "books" and "bobbles" on our bookshelf). A hammer and chisel did no good--rather, a borrowed Ultimate Sweater/Knitting Machine was used for the main blanket and crochet hooks for the items in the shelves, then hand sown all together.

It is a double-sided blanket measuring ----by---- which can be used for decoration or as a lap blanket. Made and kept in a smoke free home.

No color variants available currently as this is a one of a kind blanket. However, if you really want one or more made of this, be aware it may take a month or two, and that the price will be more than this one I already finished. (You can message me for details.)

Grumpy Hubby Crochet

Meet the Maker

Hi! My name is Dorothy, and I am the wife of the aforementioned "Grumpy Hubby", and mother to our Lovely Little Girl (as well as the artist behind "Grumpy Hubby Crochet").

My mother first taught me how to crochet when I was around 5 years old, and since then it has been like riding a bike--I may put it down for a while, but eventually pick it back up again and again. I have made baby blankets, hats, scarves, fingerless gloves, and other items in the past as gifts for friends and family, and now I am hoping to share my handmade crafts with you! Take a look around, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! :)

How it’s Made

The main blanket was made using acrylic yarn on a borrowed Ultimate Sweater/Knitting Machine. The "books" and "bobbles" on the shelves were all crocheted by hand, then attached via hand sowing. The sides and top of the blanket are joined by hand sowing as well. It took a few weeks to make.
