This adapter allows soft drink bottles modified as an alternative anesthesia mask to connect directly to a small animal anesthesia breathing circuit. The adapter screws to the thread on to the existing bottle neck.

Meet the Maker
I am a mixed-media artist with a love of the ocean and the animals that live there (and walruses are indeed the most perfect animals ever!). Resin, watercolor, acrylics, fabric and wood are just a few of the mediums that I work with. Creating useful 3-D printed items for the unique needs encountered during my daily veterinary medicine activities is also a passion.
How it’s Made
After many trials with tape, glue and miscellaneous anesthesia circuit adapters to effectively attach bottles modified as anesthesia masks for our long- faced friends (I'm looking at you Mr. Hornbill) to small animal breathing circuits, we knew there had to be a better way. Introducing the bottle adapter that makes this easy! We have developed an adapter that will simply screw onto the existing neck of a soda bottle and attach directly to a small animal anesthesia circuit.
