Care and other Instructions:
- Place on a water-resistant surface or use felt pads under saucer.
- If placing on wood, use a cork or plastic pad bellow the planter to protect the surface.
- Bring indoors during freezing temperatures to protect ceramic.
- Note: The interior is not fully glazed; however, the clay has been fired to vitrification and will hold moisture.

Meet the Maker
I’m an artist based in Houston, Texas, who fell in love with the process of pottery and the way it brings art into everyday life. Working out of my garage studio, I create small-batch functional ceramics designed for the home and office. Each piece is crafted with care and intention, balancing beauty and utility so that it can be enjoyed in your daily use.
How it’s Made
Handmade Process:
- Thrown on the pottery wheel using stoneware clay.
- Slowly dried to a leather-hard stage for trimming and refinement.
- Bisque fired at 1855°F (1013°C) to prepare for glazing and painting.
- Each mug is hand-painted with glaze, and re-fired at 2165°F (1185°C) for vitrification.
