About this Product
The beautiful Ascendio Beanie hand knit in the softest merino yarn. Mecha is a light bulky weight merino and is one of the softest merinos I have ever used. Listed as blue, the color has many variegations which are also reflected in the faux fur pom. Pom has been attached using a button and can be removed before laundering. Instructions for care of pom will be included with beanie.
Hat measure 9" long and 7" wide exclusive of pom. Hat will fit head size between 20 and 22 inches circumference. There is some stretch in this yarn; hat will be snug on larger head.
* There is a very minor pattern error in the decrease section of hat; probably only noticeable to me.
Care: Please follow instructions on enclosed label from Malabrigo yarns.

Hello, my name is Mary. I am originally from Ireland where I first learned to knit in school at a very young age. Those early attempts were improved upon by a beloved aunt who had blessed hands. I find knitting to be relaxing and therapeutic; however, I also enjoy the challenge of a new or difficult pattern even if it means ripping out and starting over. All of the items in my shop have been hand knit by myself, using only top-quality yarn. I do not like to use acrylic as it tends to pill, whereas items made with wool can last long enough to become heirlooms. A lot of yarns come in a superwash variety which offers a softer feel that just pure wool. All of my products are blocked using a plant based ecofriendly wool soak. Any residual odor from this soak will fade in time. I try my best to use ecofriendly shipping materials where possible. Thanks for visiting my shop, I hope you enjoy browsing.
