✨Dangle Size: 1.75 inches long + ear wire
✨Material: Genuine leather
✨Ear Wire/Post: Stainless steel ear wires (wires add approximately half an inch to length of earring stated above). Each pair of dangles comes with silicone backings.

Hello and Welcome Friends,
I'm Bobbi Jean, the owner of BobbiJeanK: Baubles & Designs. I'm also the purchaser, shipper, customer service rep, photographer, graphic designer, web designer, and more as I wear all of the different hats in my business. I've always been creative and crafty. From an early age I loved making things and have enjoyed creating many items throughout the years in small business ventures and as gifts - t-shirts, wreaths, jewelry, and more.
After resigning from teaching in 2018 after 11 years in the profession and finding a business professional position, I noticed that my evenings were lackluster with not much to do as teaching tasks had taken up most all of my "free" time. As I had not dabbled in a creative venture in a couple of years, I took back up jewelry making, specifically with leather earrings in the fall of 2019. I made a few pairs, started a Facebook group, and began what I thought would be a small side hustle.
Fast forward to March 2020 when the pandemic hit and my husband was unable to work his small martial arts business for the next year. I was thankfully able to work from home with my business professional position which allowed me the time to devote to building this website, marketing my products, growing my Facebook group, and getting my business officially off the ground in order to help make ends meet. Little did I know that what was supposed to be a "side hustle" would end being a much bigger blessing than I anticipated.
My business continued to grow and blossom through the pandemic which was an immense blessing for our family to make ends meet. My husband was able to slowly start opening back up in the spring of 2021. While everything started trending upward, our family was devastated in October 2021 when my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
For the next year I would balance a full time job, working my business, and being a caregiver for my mom alongside my dad. That was the most difficult year I have ever experienced. During car rides to and from doctor appointments, my mom told me about all of the regrets she had - things she didn't do and places she didn't go. It inspired me to want to live life to the fullest. I knew I needed to take a leap of faith and take this small business of mine full time. I didn't want to look back and think "what if." I submitted by resignation the end of July 2022 to my full time job and planned to officially be a full time business owner starting on September 1st. My mom was so excited for me to take this leap of faith.
Unfortunately, my mom went to heaven to meet Jesus on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 after an almost year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. The Lord's timing is perfect. That day was supposed to be the last day of my full time job. It was as if my mom and the Lord were telling me that nothing was standing in my way of taking my leap of faith. I did extend my employment one additional month to get a few things in a row, but I did officially become a full time small business owner on October 1, 2022.
In addition to being a full time small business owner, I'm married to my ninja husband, Jarrod, and I'm a crazy cat mom to our 3 cats- Tigger, Ham Sandwich, and Waffles. In fact, the BobbiJeanK: Baubles & Designs logo is designed after Tigger, my very first pet and cat, an orange tabby. I'm also a floral fanatic, loving everything floral, hence the flower embellishment on the logo. The name BobbiJeanK comes from my first and middle names and last initial while "Baubles & Designs" refers to jewelry and other gift ideas offered in the shop.
It is my pleasure and passion to offer you quality, affordable, and stylish handcrafted earrings and studs as well as unique gift ideas in my shop. Each item is made with a lot of love, prayer, and coffee. We are located in the upstate of South Carolina in Fort Mill, right outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to this goimagine storefront, our Facebook Community is where most of the action happens with new releases, giveaways, interactive posts, weekly prayer posts, and more. We're a close knit community of women who pray for and encourage each other.
When you purchase from BobbiJeanK: Baubles & Designs, you're helping to give back to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) in memory of my mom. $1 from every order each month is donated to PanCAN, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer. In 2023, $1,752 was donated and in 2022 (the start of donations) $1,530 was donated, totaling $3,282 donated to PanCAN in 2 years.

Returns, Exchanges, & Cancellations
In short, due to being a handcrafted small business, we do not accept any returns or exchanges on any items unless it is the fault of BobbiJeanK: Baubles & Designs. We also do not accept any cancellations once orders are placed as production usually begins quickly. If you have any issues with your order once placed or received, please message us for assistance.

Are the earrings and items in your shop really handmade by you?
Yes, all earrings and items are handmade by yours truly, Bobbi Jean. With the help of my Glowforge Pro and Thunder Bolt lasers, I am able to engrave and cut wood and acrylic and customize the Ticonderoga pencils. I also hand make all of the leather and clay earrings. Earrings and items that are hand painted are also painted by me. All earrings and items are assembled by me as well. I try my hardest to USA-based materials and work to reduce waste as much as possible. Know that when you're purchasing from BobbiJeanK: Baubles & Designs, you are purchasing a 100% handmade product from a small business. We appreciate your support.
How do I care for the earrings I purchased?

Why do my earrings not look exactly like the ones in the listing photos?
Please note that you may NOT receive the EXACT same pair of earrings pictured in each listing due to the varying pattern of the acrylic, clay, leather, or wood. All pairs are cut from the same slab of clay, hide of leather, or sheet of acrylic or wood so slight variations may occur pending the pattern. Natural wood earrings (birch, cherry, red oak, sapele, walnut, etc.) may have slight variations in the color and design of the wood due to its natural nature and wood grain. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific part of a pattern or wood grain. Please be assured that your earrings will look very similar to photos shown in the listing.
Do you accept returns, exchanges, or alterations after delivery?
In short, due to being a handcrafted small business, we do not accept any returns or exchanges on any items. We ask that you communicate any specific requests or questions via message during the ordering process. Please be sure to read the care instructions (see FAQ above) for information on how to properly care for your jewelry. We are not responsible for any damage or discoloration of acrylic, clay, leather, or wood, ear wires, jewelry components, etc. after purchase has been made and received. Natural discoloration and antiquing from your body, perspiration, air, chemicals, products, etc. is natural over time. We are also not responsible for incorrect sizing. Please read each listing carefully to see approximate sizing information.

Are your earrings safe for sensitive ears?
All earrings come with stainless steel ear wires or stainless steel posts unless otherwise noted. Each pair of earrings also comes with silicone backings. We make every effort to be completely transparent about the materials, ear wires, components, etc. according to the information provided by our small business suppliers. It is the responsibility of the shopper to make the decision as to if the product specifications are ones that will work with their ears (for example, if one has sensitive ears). BobbiJeanK: Baubles & Designs is not responsible for any allergic reactions, discoloring, etc. that may occur.
What if my package is delayed, lost in transit, or stolen?
Please note it could take up to 24-48 hours to see movement and/or tracking updates on your package from USPS. It is HIGHLY recommended that you sign up for text or email alerts via the USPS website using your tracking number. Please note that it could take 3-7 business days for your package to be delivered (this time could increase during peak holiday seasons). If you have not received your package within a reasonable amount of time (please allow up to 2 weeks; 3 weeks during peak holiday seasons), please reach out via message and we will make every attempt to assist you in locating your package by working with you and your local post office. We are happy to provide this assistance for you so you do not have to track down your package.
