How it’s Made
I crochet the butterfly using a very fine crochet thread under a strong reading light since it's so tiny! Once that's done, I weave in the loose ends and trim. Next, I fold the base in half in whichever way I think complements the matching barrette. I make the antennae and tie it in an even knot around the middle of the butterfly, adjusting just right until I add a dab of super glue to hold. Once that dries, I super glue the finished piece to the barrette. Not to fret for those with little ones - the adhesive is non-toxic when dry.
