I knit this purse with a cable stitch design using a dark maroon / Cranberry knitted worsted yarn ~ The top is crocheted with button holes and a scalloped edge ~ I ran a dark rose grosgrain ribbon through the holes and tied it in a bow ~ The strap is also crocheted
It is lined with a nice weight cotton fabric featuring pale pink cabbage roses, sage green leaves and light tan stripes ~ There are 3 pockets on one side
Width at top: 11 ½”
Width at bottom: 17”
Height of body: 9 ½”
Length of strap: 17” ~ This may stretch a bit, depending on the weight you put in your purse
Machine or hand wash in cold ~ Lay to dry

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!
