Each one is made from real Maple wood, not compressed particle board. My Lazy Susans are very popular housewarming gifts. A hand made, high quality gift with a touch of humor added.
A Lazy Susan with a print of my Blue Crab Artwork. This Lazy Susan measures just a little bit over 12 inches across. The background is painted bright red, and it has fun little dots. As you can see, the sayingreads, "No Crabb in or Bitchin' allowed in the Kitchen.
This Lazy Sue is cut from 3/4" wood and is coated with two part epoxy resin. The epoxy resin creates a super hard, strong, reflective, glass like finish. Most people think it is made from ceramic. You can order the back ground in the Turquoise, Red or Dark Blue. Just leave a note with your order.

Meet the Maker
Hi everyone, I am Janet Dineen, a handmade maker of Mosaic Art, Custom House numbers and Lazy Susans. Custom orders are my specialty. Feel free to ask about anything that you have in mind. Many times, the best ideas come from people like you.
I currently live in Aransas Pass, Texas where I am very lucky to have a home studio where I can work in the lovely air conditioning. My husband Mike and I work together on many of the projects, he cuts the wood and I paint.
We have a little dog named Dolly and her job is to keep us entertained and chase squirrels.
I welcome people into my home studio to visit or purchase something that I might have available. I hope to make something special for you soon. Cheers!
How it’s Made
We purchase Maple 3/4”plywood.
Draw and cut the circles or Sand Dollar shapes.
Route the edges, then sand.
Prime, then paint the design.
Brush on three coats of clear varathane.
Pour on the epoxy resin.
Usually pour another coat of resin.
Sand off drippings and repaint the bottom.
Attach the made in USA ball bearing swivel and the 1/2” wood covering.
Attach felt bumpers, sign and date.
Wrap it up pretty in a new pizza box and send it to you.
