Meet the Maker
I'm Monique, founder and artist behind GoodJooJooJ since 2016. My dear pup Julian was the inspiration for starting this handmade pet accessory business. His nickname was Jooj and he was always my little sidekick while I crafted away.
With Julian as my muse, I create quality, one-of-a-kind items so your pets can be as fashionable as he was! My goal with GoodJooJooJ is to provide thoughtful products to bring joy and “GoodJooJooJ” to furry friends and their owners.
Sewing and crafting have been lifelong passions of mine. After losing my beloved Julian in 2021, continuing to make pet accessories allows me to honor his memory and share my love of animals.
In addition to running my small business, I enjoy celebrating Halloween year-round with spooky seasonal creations. I love taking custom orders so each item is specially designed with your fur baby in mind.
To me, my customers are family. I put care into each handmade product and aim to spread as much GoodJooJooJ as I can!
How it’s Made
Each Pet Bandana is lovingly handmade by me, paying attention to every detail. I take great pride in crafting each bandana myself using high-quality, quilt weight cotton fabrics for comfort and durability.
The topstitching is added for an extra dose of artisan charm in every stitch. I thoughtfully cut and sew each component to create a truly one-of-a-kind accessory infused with goodjoojooj.
My handmade process allows me to check the quality of every fabric, print, and stitch to ensure your pet will feel comfortable and stylish in their new bandana. I pour my creativity into each unique, print so your pet can stand out!
When you purchase one of my Pet Bandanas, you're getting a hand-sewn, custom-made item that I have meticulously crafted by hand just for your pet. I hope the care and attention I put into each bandana will make your day a little more special!
Shop Policies
Processing Time:
All items are made to order by hand. Please allow the following processing times before items ship:
- Standard orders: 5-7 business days
- Rush orders: 3-5 business days (additional rush fee applies)
- Custom orders: Varies based on specifics of order; typical range is 7-14 days (this may be longer depending on the nature of the custom request, but this will be discussed at time of request)
Processing times begin once payment has been received and confirmed. All items are created in order of payment received. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.
I make every effort to complete orders as quickly as possible within my posted processing times. However, certain circumstances may occasionally result in slightly extended timelines. This includes but is not limited to: high order volumes, materials shortages, severe weather, and problems with third party shipping carriers.
In the event a delay is expected that will extend processing time by more than 1 week past posted times, I will reach out to make arrangements with the customer. Options may include rush processing, discounts on future orders, or mutually agreed upon solutions.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about when your order will be shipped. I will provide status updates and do my best to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery.
Returns & Refunds:
Due to the handmade, custom nature of products, I do not accept returns or offer refunds or exchanges.
However, customer satisfaction is my top priority. If an error was made on my end in the creation of your order, please reach out to me right away. I will do my best to promptly correct any mistakes in the following ways:
- If possible, I will remake the item correctly and ship it to you free of charge.
- If I cannot remake the item due to lack of materials/supplies, I will offer a full refund or store credit for the amount paid.
Aside from errors on my end in processing an order, I cannot accept returns or exchanges or provide refunds or credits once an order has shipped out. Please choose designs and provide customization details carefully, as all sales are final.
However, please reach out if you have any concerns - I want you to be fully satisfied and will do my best to resolve any issues that may arise.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please contact me within 24 hours of placing it. I am generally able to accommodate cancellation requests made within the first 24 hours.
However, orders cannot be cancelled if more than 24 hours have passed since the order was placed. This is because we often begin the production process as soon as an order comes in.
We are unable to issue refunds or accept order cancellations after the 24 hour cut-off since materials and time will have already been invested into making your items. I appreciate you understanding the necessity of the advanced notice cancellation policy.
When you place an order with me, it represents a commitment to purchase the made-to-order products. Please ensure you are fully satisfied with your designs and customization details before finalizing your order, as after 24 hours cancellations cannot be accepted.
If you have any questions or concerns about the cancellation policy, please reach out. I will do my best to assist prior to order placement so that cancellations are not needed.
Shipping Policy:
As a one person operation, I offer First Class and Priority shipping through USPS.
Most customers select First Class, which provides a tracking number but no insurance. By choosing First Class, you understand that I cannot be held responsible for any issues with delivery. This includes but is not limited to: lost, damaged, delayed or mishandled packages while in USPS's possession.
It is your responsibility to provide the correct shipping address and understand I have no control over transit times once shipped. I cannot offer reimbursements due to USPS delivery issues when First Class is selected.
If concerned about delivery, I recommend Priority shipping which includes insurance. However, you would need to initiate any claims with USPS for lost/damaged items. I do not have the ability to file claims on your behalf.
Choosing Priority shipping does not expedite order production. It only upgrades the mailing service. To rush order creation, select "Rush Order" at checkout.
Please ensure you understand my ship methods before ordering. I'm unable to alter shipping after the fact. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I aim to be transparent about shipping limitations as a small business owner
Care Instructions:
Bandanas, Fabric Bow Ties, Fabric Hair Bows & Plush Toys:
- I recommend hand washing in cold water using a mild detergent
- Hang items to fully air dry
- Iron on low heat if needed
Heat Transfer Vinyl Items:
- Hand wash in cold water and hang to dry to preserve vinyl designs
- Avoid direct high heat from dryers or ironing over the vinyl design area
- Light ironing on low heat may be used on fabric parts only

Safety & Liability:
As the buyer, you are responsible for supervising your pet while they wear accessories or play with toys purchased from my shop.
Proper inspection and care is key to ensure continued safety when using handmade pet products. I recommend frequently checking items for wear and tear. Remove accessories or dispose of toys at the first sign of damage.
While I aim to make durable, pet-safe products, I cannot be held liable for any injuries or incidents that result from normal use and aging of materials over time. Pets may chew or damage items; owners are responsible for monitoring condition and replacing accessories if needed.
Ultimately, pet safety is in the owner's hands. I cannot be held responsible for any accidents, injuries or other harm that may occur. My products are handmade and not indestructible. Supervision and discretion are advised when your pet uses purchased items.
Please reach out if you ever have any concerns about product safety or durability. I'm happy to offer care tips and advice. However, liability for pet wellbeing and monitoring usage of purchased products lies with owners.
Use of Images:
All images, photos, and other visual content on my website are material belonging to GoodJooJooJ.
Customers may take and post their own pictures showcasing purchased products. However, directly taking and using any imagery from my website without express written permission is strictly prohibited.
My business retains full rights to all catalog and product photos, banners, logos, branded visual assets, and any other images associated with GoodJooJooJ. None of these visual elements may be reproduced, distributed, or used by parties other than GoodJooJooJ without consent.
Using my photos without authorization constitutes image theft and infringement of intellectual property rights. Violators may face legal action in addition to loss of purchasing privileges and other sanctions at my discretion.
Please help protect my small business by refraining from unauthorized use of any imagery owned by and originating from GoodJooJooJ. My photos are vital business assets and cannot legally or ethically be copied or distributed without permission.
