Decorative Bowl, Dyed Wood Bowl. This cherry wood bowl is a beauty with the addition of several coats of dyes and finish to make it stand out. The bowl is 2.0 inches high and about 7.0 inches wide. The outer rim is dyed with green, red, yellow, then blended together. The base of the bowl is dyed with amber, and the well of the bowl has been left natural. All the dyes are alcohol based; the final finish is lacquer. This makes for a stunning array of colors that change depending upon the light surrounding the bowl. A perfect and unique gift for a birthday, wedding, housewarming, or holiday. A sweet little bowl for beside your bed for jewelry at night.
To care for the bowl, wipe with a soft cloth. Do not place in water or a dishwasher.

Meet the Maker
I have been turning wood bowls and boxes for about 25 years. It started as a hobby out of my garage on the weekends. Now that I have retired, I have a new dedicated workshop where I turn bowls, boxes, trees, and many other wooden items full time to sell at art & craft fairs in western Maine, and online. Wood is such a wonderful medium to work with, when you start to turn a bowl, you never know what it will reveal for grain patterns or color variances within the wood. It is like unwrapping a new present each time. On average each large bowl may take several days from start to finish.
How it’s Made
This bowl is hand turned on a wood lathe. The dye is added one color at a time and then blended. The finish coat is a clear lacquer.

Return Policy
We strive to create, produce, and deliver quality items to our customers. We provide detailed descriptions (including measurements, colors, and any inclusions in the wood) and display many photos from every angle of each item in Go Imagine to help our customers make informed purchasing decisions. We provide care instructions for each item listed in the description on Go Imagine and add a care sheet in each package that is shipped. We package our items with great care to ensure that they arrive safely.
However, if you are not satisfied with your unused purchase, please contact us within five (5) days of delivery date with a reason for the return request. We will not accept returns on any item that has been used and/or abused. Once we have determined that a return is appropriate, please follow these instructions:
1. All items must be returned in the original packing box with the original packing materials it was shipped in.
2. All items must be returned in the same condition as they were shipped (not used or mistreated).
3. Buyer must pay return shipping costs; no COD will be accepted.
4. Items must be mailed back to us within five (5) business days of our authorization of return.
Once we have received the item we will open and inspect the item. If it is determined that the item is in the original condition, we will issue a refund for the original purchase price.
Please note: Due to the organic nature of wood, there may be an occasional imperfection in the wood that we use – this is normal. We stabilize any major imperfection prior to final finishing with food safe oils.
