Wee fairies trapped in bottles and jars are believed to grant wishes, and they add a bit of whimsy and magic to your set up or decor. Each jar is created by hand and only every few years. These are lovingly crafted in Autumn colors with semi-transparent, color shifting finishes. Each lantern has its own personality and name. Choose from Pumpkin, Aubergine, Moss, and Turmeric.

Salutations! I'm Rosa, creator and artist behind Transcendence Artes! I work across multiple mediums and create everything from original canvas art (which you can occasionally catch me painting live on my IG) to jewelry, and pyrographed spirit boards. My focus is creating beautiful handmade pieces of personal adornments to reflect inner peace and balance, encourage spiritual growth, and just makes you happy. I love pieces that are intentional, creative, fun, and practical as well as whimsical and that is my goal when I begin working on a piece. I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy creating them for you!
How it’s Made
Fairy lanterns are crafted from as many recycled and reclaimed pieces as possible and in true goblin style, they may have elaborate bits of lace, charms, stones, or floral elements. The only parts that are absolutely new are the fairies and the paint. I have quite a goblin stash to select the prettiest baubles.
Each jar is steamed, dried in the sun, and allowed to vent before painting. The inside is frosted with a light coat of paint and the fairies are tucked inside. The exterior is coated with any leftover paint and then dried. It's then given a full day to cure before the specialty paints are applied. The colors are chosen for their beauty as well as their transparency. I add a touch of mineral mica for sparkle and once they are cured, I choose the decorative elements. The hanger is crafted from repurposed wire hangers. The last decorations are pieces of silk, fabrics, or lace (depending on the feel of the lantern), charms, and flowers. When her lantern is completed, it's given a scroll with her name and clan.
Your lantern is then wrapped in recycled packaging and shipped. All lanterns listed are ready to ship.
Shop Policies
All items are created in small batches, at least for the time being, due to a shortage of storage space. Due to storage restrictions and state taxes for re-shelved items, I am not accepting returns at this time. All sales are final. Thank you for understanding.
