Press the perfect sandwich at home with this hand forged, square sandwich press. Made from 1/4 inch thick solid carbon steel plate, this piece of functional art is heavy enough to hold down any sandwich. In addition to the square chisel work, I even made square head rivets to continue the theme. It's hip to be square!

How it’s Made
I forge a tendon onto the end of a salvaged railroad spike and join it at 1700 degrees to the 1/4 inch solid steel plate. Finally, the whole piece gets cured in vegetable oil to provide a durable, and stick resistant coating.
