This is a card organizer for keeping anything but catan cards in order during the game play. Any similarity between this and a card holder for catan is purely coincidental, this item is not endorsed or affiliated with settlers of catan in any way. It is designed for speed; each card sits at a 45º angle, which eliminates the need for manually rearranging the deck every time it is used. You can simply drop the card on top of its deck and it will fall into place. The cards are also spread into a fan to make each deck equally accessible
