A brilliant red northern cardinal is hand-painted on a 3 1/2 inch diameter wood slice, which is a size that will look great on small, medium, and large Christmas trees. The bird is set against a winter gray background, which allows the red of the bird and the green of the tree needles to stand out. I hand-painted holly with red berries on the back of this ornament. This handmade ornament would look beautiful on your Christmas tree, or it would be a wonderful gift for a friend or family member.

Ornament size - approximately 3 1/2 inches in height, 3 1/2 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick
I paint with acrylics, and all ornaments is sealed with polycrylic to preserve the ornament for many, many, years of display
Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
