This copper tree of life pendant is graced with chip beads of natural Carnelian.
Perched in the tree of life is a small Paua Shell bird to add a whimsical bit of realism to the tree. Wear this copper pendant to connect with your love of nature or to add a hint of southwestern flair to your wardrobe.
Gemstone Chip Beads: Genuine Carnelian
Size: The pendant is 3 1/4" tall and 3" wide with a 7 mm opening to accommodate a chain, cord, or ribbon.
Wire: Natural copper wire that has been antiqued and polished - The color of the wire will darken with time and wear because of oxidation.
You can use a polishing cloth to brighten the wire if desired.
This pendant comes with a 22 inch brown, braided, faux leather necklace cord with a copper lobster claw clasp.

Meet the Maker
Hello, my name is Diane and I am the owner and artist of Artisan Rockhound. I started out as a Rockhound (a person who searches for and collects rocks and minerals as a hobby) and became an Artisan (a skilled craft worker who makes or creates material objects partly or entirely by hand). I still love rockhounding and do it any chance I get plus I enjoy talking about rocks to whoever wants to listen.
Everything I sell is made in my Arizona, USA workshop with an emphasis on quality over quantity. The leather pouches I make with high quality Elk and Deer hide that I hand pick from various vendors. I use only glass beads, natural gemstones, metal, and authentic antler/bones as embellishments. All my products are proudly made in the USA. Each one is a unique one of a kind work of art. My products are already made when they enter the shop so they are ready to ship as soon as you buy them.

How it’s Made
I made a small round frame with heavy gauge copper wire then added smaller gauge wire to the frame for the roots and branches. I then added carnelian chip beads to the smaller wires and connected them to the frame. I also added a shell bird bead to the branch of the tree in the center using the same smaller gauge wires to attach it securely to the branch. After it was finished I used liver of sulfur to "antique" the piece then polished it with a brush and jewelry polishing cloth.
